Scott Bloomquist, who is expected to race for Kyle Busch Motorsports in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race at Eldora Speedway, is now under investigation by the Hawkins County Sheriff’s Department reportedly for threatening to shoot a fellow race-shop employee.
Scott Bloomquist, a Late Model dirt track racer, recently had his name in the news when it was reported by numerous sources that Kyle Busch Motorsports was looking at him to field a truck during the inaugural NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race at Eldora Speedway. Now those headlines are shifting to reported threats on a race-shop employee.
On May 28th Bloomquist was accused by Matthew Simmonds of threatening his life. The reason for the threat is currently unknown but the local Sherriff’s Department is looking into the case.
This news comes just months before Scott Bloomquist plans on making his NASCAR Camping World Truck Series debut at Eldora Speedway for Kyle Busch Motorsports.
