Outback Steakhouse to continue sponsorship with Stewart-Haas Racing

Outback Steakhouse, who currently is one of Ryan Newman’s primary sponsors, will continue its sponsor relationship with Stewart-Haas Racing in 2014.

Outback Steakhouse will join Budweiser as a primary sponsor for the #4 Chevrolet SS, which will be driven by Kevin Harvick in 2014. Outback Steakhouse will serve as the primary sponsor for 2 races on the #4. When not the primary sponsor, Outback Steakhouse will be an associate sponsor on the car.

“Stewart-Haas Racing has been an excellent partner of Outback Steakhouse and we’re proud to continue our relationship with the team,” said Outback Steakhouse’s Chief marketing Officer, Mike Kappitt. “The ‘Bloomin’ Monday’ promotion has been incredibly successful thanks to our partnership with Stewart-Haas Racing, and we look forward to continuing ‘Bloomin’ Mondays’ with Kevin Harvick.”

“It’s truly a privilege to represent the iconic Outback brand,” said Kevin Harvick. “I’m certainly looking forward to making every Monday a ‘Bloomin’ Monday’.”

Kevin Harvick, who currently races for Richard Childress Racing, will be joining Stewart-Haas Racing in 2014. Ryan Newman, who currently is sponsored by Outback Steakhouse, will be leaving Stewart-Haas Racing at the end of the year to join Richard Childress Racing.
